Wildwood Pizza closed their doors in May 2009 after new ownership of the building they were leasing space from decided to repurpose the building and put an end to their 27-year lease.
After receiving a tip from a reader (Thanks Paul!) that Wildwood Pizza in Mahtomedi would be re-opening in a new location, I did a little checking around and I am delighted to confirm that Wildwood Pizza is indeed reopening very soon! The new location is at 468 Stillwater Rd (across from Mahtomedi City Hall), just two blocks east of their former location. Construction of the new property should be complete within the next month and the restaurant is set to open sometime in November
I hope this news makes many people as happy as it made me!
